CoverCount Explore helps you find places to visit, public events and reservation openings through conversation. Ask about a venue's menu, photos or hours, then follow its CoverCount link when you are ready to book. You do not need a CoverCount account to search.
Connect CoverCount Explore
If CoverCount Explore is available in your Claude directory or organization's plugins, add it and enable it for your conversation. The plugin includes the public connection and three skills for Reservations, Events and Places. Availability depends on your Claude account and organization settings.
You can also add the public connection directly:
- Open Customize > Connectors and choose Add custom connector, where your account allows it.
- Use the name CoverCount Explore and server URL
https://mcp.covercount.io/explore/mcp. - If asked for authentication, choose No sign-in. No API key, OAuth credentials or request headers are needed.
- Enable the connector in your conversation and try a search below.
Your organization may need an owner to add the connection first. See Claude's custom connector instructions for the current setup options. Adding the server URL connects the tools; it does not install the plugin's skills.
Find reservations, events and places
Reservations: Give a town or venue, a visit date and a party size. Include a preferred time or ask for any available time that day.
Find a tasting reservation for four near Paso Robles tomorrow afternoon.
Events: Ask about public events today, this weekend, in the next seven or 30 days, or without a date restriction.
Are there any public events around Paso Robles in the next month?
Places: Discover venues or ask about a place you have selected. Public details can include a description, menu and website links, photos, contact information and local opening hours, depending on what the venue has supplied.
What is Kula Hawaiian Kitchen like? Can I see its menu and opening hours?
Search covers public CoverCount listings. Dates and times use the venue's timezone. If a location is ambiguous, provide the town and state or country. A place listing or its opening hours does not guarantee a reservation is available.
Finish booking on CoverCount
Searches and availability checks do not book or hold anything. Choose Finish booking on CoverCount to review the selected opening and complete the booking on the website. Availability can change before you finish.
The assistant can check whether a card is required for a selected reservation. A required card can relate to a deposit, prepayment or card hold; the connector does not supply the amount or full terms. Review those on the booking page. For events, review ticket choices, restrictions and the final price on the event page.
Enter guest details, payment information and consent choices on the booking website. Explore cannot retrieve, cancel or change an existing booking. Use the instructions in your booking confirmation or contact the venue for help with an existing reservation.
Privacy and support
The connection sends your search criteria to CoverCount and returns public information to your assistant. It does not provide access to private guest records or staff accounts. You can disable or remove the connection through Claude's connector or plugin controls.
- No matching results: Try a nearby location, another date or a different party size. Coverage is limited to public CoverCount listings.
- Details are missing: The venue may not have supplied them through the connector. Follow its public page or contact the venue.
- A search is unavailable or times out: That does not mean there are no matches. Try again later or use CoverCount Explore.
- A rate limit appears: Wait for the indicated retry time before searching again.
